If you're a musician, chances are good that you've invested a lot of money and time into a variety of multi-fx units, preamps, equalizers, pedals, digital modelers, etc... The problem with using all of these things on stage is that you have to plug them into an amplifier which was designed with its own sound in mind, and you spend eternity trying to find the balance between the sound your equipment was designed to produce and the signal manipulation your amplifier was designed for. Ideally, you would have an amplifier that simply takes your signal and makes it louder, the way the manufacturers of your equipment intended. It is with this in mind that we introduce the SoundClone.

So, what's a SoundClone? Powered speaker cabinets engineered for absolute premium quality sound. A simple concept with many different applications. The cabinets can be used individually, run separately for stereo sound, or daisy chained in series increasing power to whatever level you need. There are no tone controls, only a linear volume control which allows you to get the same sound at low and high volumes. You can drive the input using the lineout of your multi-fx device, digital modeler, current amp, a microphone, separate preamp or pedal output. All control of your tone belongs to the aforementioned device.

With the signal coloration of the amplifier out of the way, there remains the unavoidable fact that the choice of speaker and cabinet will affect your tone. All SoundClone models have identical amplifiers, but are offered in a variety of 'voicings' to help get the sound you're looking for, or sold unloaded for musicians who wish to experiment with a greater variety of speaker options.

  • SoundClones have a volume knob, a 1/4" input jack, a 1/4" extension speaker jack, and a 1/4" line out.
  • SoundClones are lightweight with the 10” being 22 pounds and the 12” only 30 pounds.
  • All cabinets are rated at 160 watts (at 4 ohms which requires a passive extension speaker). The effective power as shipped is 120 watts (into an 8 ohm speaker).
  • Dimensions:
